Located only a few hours down the road from me is one of this planets' finest audio manufacturing facility.
I once watched a documentary on MAC Labs, seems the same woman who wound some of the earliest Mac transformers is still on the job. What a great place it must be to work.
Though Mac is generally out of my budget, I did manage to locate one pristine MAC1700 high-bred receivers (with walnut cabinet option)just over the border in Pennsylvania. The fact that it was $200 and I didn't have to risk shipping it, I couldn't resist, and I have never regretted it.

The c-26 was an eBay spur of the moment purchase, I wish I had kept it. It did make me a ton of money on the flip.
