The Dm1800's were short lived. Sold after a summer of thorough trials for a high bid of $300 shipped.
My impression was that of an overall rubbery sound. I couldn't get past it. The bass was not acceptable. Funny how the KEF's tickle me to death and are so very similar in materials and quality.

The V202's were another attempt at budget B&W that failed. They were accurate, but they could not acheive any kind of volume. Low frequency distorted at modest levels. Great if you are outfitting a closet or washroom. Okay, so I ran them off the monster Yamaha... They would be better suited to a cr-620. not a cr-1020.

DM1800 featured only the highest grade veneers expertly matched, If you look athe the fronts, the graining is near identical.

they were like that on all sides. Even the backs of the cabinets are grain matched. beautifully done.

The grills are intechangeable with the V202 series. These were poorly constructed of weak plastic frames. Disposable, meant to be viewed naked.

V202. Nothing to write home about.
